Steve Carreck and Alison Sherrell established the Graphic Words partnership
over ten years ago
to offer clients the opportunity of using the services of experienced
publicity and communications
professionals - in an economic and effective manner - whenever they
are required.
By remaining a compact, client-focussed business,
and by carefully controlling our overheads,
we can offer you an efficient and economical service, and will work
together with you to find
a solution to your needs within your available budget.
We have strong experience of working in the heritage,
countryside, tourism and local economic
development sectors.
Steve
Carreck has a degree in History (Hons. I) and
MA in Information Studies. He began his career in
the public sector, and moved on to work in the recording industry before
spending ten years as
publicity manager for a major international company based in Devon,
producing corporate literature
and managing advertising and the company's presence at major trade fairs
and exhibitions.
Steve brought his skills and his experience to Graphic Words over ten
years ago, and has subsequently
worked with clients from across the public and private sectors.
Alison
Sherrell has a Marketing degree and began her
career as a tourism officer in Devon, before she
moved into the public transport sector to develop the "Devon and
Cornwall Rail Project", promoting usage
of rail branch lines in the region. She became countryside officer for
the Tamar Valley area, subsequently
running the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Service
for a number of years.
Alison brought into the partnership her skills in project management
and community issues, and
public sector experience of presenting information clearly and concisely
through print and other media.
