Seaham North Dock - Interpretation Board

The North Dock at Seaham Harbour in County Durham was recently opened to the public for recreational and leisure access.

Graphic Words was commissioned by the Harbour's management company to produce an interpretation board greeting visitors to the site.

The board provides a brief historical introduction and some environmental information about the site.

The board also details the plans for the future of the site, including sustainable development to provide a wide range of seaside sport and leisure facilities.

Graphic Words designed the board and wrote and edited copy based on research materials and reports supplied by our clients. The board was produced with a GRP laminate and mounted in a steel frame.
