"Nine Centuries of Tavistock Markets"

Working closely with local author Graham Kirkpatrick, Graphic Words designed and laid out this 48 page A5 booklet. The booklet was produced to mark the 900th anniversary of the grant of a market charter to the town of Tavistock by King Henry I.

We developed an initial design concept for the book, subsequently assisting with editing text, and selection and manipulation of images supplied by the author. We completed the layout of the book and prepared artwork. We liaised closely with the local printers. A black and white publication, with a full colour outer cover, the book contained over 50 photographs, plans and maps.

The book was published in 2007 by the Tavistock Market Charter Group.
