Website Design and Management

Through our partnership with associates specialising in IT, we have been involved in developing and maintaining a variety of web sites, which are created to balance design and functionality to meet the needs of our clients.

Web sites which we have been involved in developing and maintaining range from Budleigh Salterton Tourist Information Centre to much larger sites, including large searchable databases of supporting documentation and background information - such as the National Association for AONBs (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the North Wessex Downs AONB.

Working closely with our sister company, Westcountry Business Associates Ltd, these web sites have been specifically designed to offer our clients easy in-house management. We offer a system which allows them -even if they have no previous experience of web site management - to control text and graphic content of their sites, add new pages and links within their own site and to external web sites, and update the buttons which are used to navigate through their site content.

Other options allow the inclusion of secure, password-protected pages on the site ("members' areas"), an online discussion forum, or large "online reference libraries" of important documentation.

This system is an ideal solution when information needs to be easily and rapidly updated - such as on news and events pages - or when documents and information need to be circulated to restricted users groups - such as organisation members or remotely-located staff.
